April L. Hornsby, CPA
Supervisor
April graduated from Mercer University in 1997 with a B.B.A. in Accounting. She joined our firm upon graduation and received her CPA license in 2003. April’s areas of expertise includes providing advisory, audit and accounting services to not-for-profit organizations and employee benefit plans. She also provides tax preparation services for individuals. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Middle Georgia Chapter of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. April also serves as a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and as treasurer for Houston County Habitat for Humanity.
Jay A. Siegelman, CPA, MAcc

Jay graduated from Georgia College & State University in 1999 with a B.B.A. in Accounting. He graduated in 2001 with a Masters of Accountancy degree from Valdosta State University, and joined our firm upon graduation. He passed the CPA exam in August 2003 and was promoted to Supervisor in August 2007. Jay’s areas of expertise includes providing advisory, audit and accounting services to not-for-profit organizations and employee benefit plans. He also provides tax preparation services for individuals. Jay is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Middle Georgia Chapter of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Erin M. Reimers, CPA, MAcc
Supervisor
Erin graduated from Georgia College & State University in 2001 with a B.B.A. in Accounting and graduated in 2003 with a Masters of Accountancy degree. She passed the CPA exam in 2005 and joined our firm in 2006 after working for another CPA firm. Erin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Middle Georgia Chapter of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is a volunteer with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Middle Georgia and a member of the Warner Robins Junior Women’s League, the Perry Chamber of Commerce and is the Treasurer of the Boys and Girls Club of the Ga Heartlands.
Rhonda D. Kelley, CPA, MBA
Senior Accountant
Rhonda graduated Magna Cum Laude from Macon State College in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Business & Information Technology with a concentration in Accounting; she earned a Master of Business Administration from Mercer University in 2007. Rhonda was the recipient of scholarships from both the Georgia Society of CPA's and the James Bass Foundation. She joined our firm in 2004 and passed the CPA exam in March 2005. Rhonda is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Middle Georgia Chapter of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Peach County Chamber of Commerce and as the Finance Chair at Byron United Methodist Church. She is also a member and Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Greater Byron.
David E. Pope
Staff Accountant
David graduated Magna Cum Laude from Macon State College in May of 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Business & Information Technology with a concentration in Accounting. David joined our firm in 2007 and is currently a CPA candidate. David is also a member of the Middle Georgia Chapter of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Ellen B. Smith
Staff Accountant
Ellen started with our firm as an intern during the 2008 tax season. After graduating from Macon State College in August 2008, she joined our firm full time as a Staff Accountant. Ellen received her degree in Business Information Technology with a major concentration in Accounting and graduated Magna Cum Laude and Presidnent's List Scholar. She is also a member of the Middle Georgia Chapter of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Lin C. Puster
Bookkeeper
Lin is a Wesleyan College graduate and has over thirty years of bookkeeping experience. She joined our firm in 1986. Lin is responsible for data entry, financial statement formatting, adjusting entries and preparation of payroll and sales tax returns for a variety of monthly bookkeeping clients. She prepares computerized payroll and accounts payable checks for selected clients as well as handling some of their year-end work. She also serves as a link between the client and the accountant making them aware of all pertinent developments related to that bookkeeping client, especially during tax season.
Erin D. Shelton
Firm Administrator
Erin joined our firm in 2004 and was recently promoted to Firm Administrator. She is responsible for all support staff operations and supervision and serves as a link between staff and management. She reviews all timesheets and workloads, schedules vacations and maintains confidential personnel records. She takes an active role in recruiting and hiring of all Firm personnel. Erin maintains the employee benefits program and supervises all firm bookkeeping, accounts receivables and payables, firm financial statements, annual budget and depreciation schedules. She also coordinates and is responsible for firm monthly billings and daily deposits as well as maintaining the due date system for all tax returns.
Machele C. Evans
Administrative Assistant
Machele joined our firm as receptionist in 2006 and was recently promoted to administrative assistant. She assists all staff that may need her for tasks such as clerical work, typing letters, making phone calls to clients, organizers, confirmation letters, tax returns, payroll tax returns, financial statements, etc. Machele is responsible for keying in the timesheets on a daily basis, assisting with monthly billing and backing up the Firm Administrator with accounts receivables, reports and training.
Daphne L. Dumas
Receptionist
Daphne joined our firm in September of 2008. Daphne is our friendly phone voice and cheerful face when you walk in the door. She is responsible for answering the phones and greeting all of our clients. She is also responsible for assisting all staff with any clerical and administrative tasks as well as sending out our quarterly newsletters and taking care of appointments. Daphne specializes in the needs of our clients.
